We give the greeting you for New Year of Bali Hindu. 

"Selamat Hari Raya Nyepi" (Indonesian Language Happy Nyepi Day)

"Rahajeng Rahina Penyepian" (Bali Language)

Wishing Bali keep prosper and peaceful forever 🌟

                                 

Hari Nyepi is New Year of Bali Hindu religion.

                                  

Nyepi is original word in Indonesia language "Sepi".

Sepi means "Silent",,,, Yes today is "Silent Day" in Bali....

Already start silent New Year of Çaka year 1937 . All day we must not go outside from house and use the fire, light too. 

This rule must follow even if peopel are other religion and foreigner who live in Bali too.And we must not kill something, and work too. No car and no motorcycle today. Airport also closed today.

Just hear only twitter of bird and voice of a bug. In the night Bali wrap dark. In dark world only stars will shine in more than usual in the night sky. If we are lucky, we can see milky way in the night sky.

                               

We feel which must protect this beautiful nature in Bali. Bali Hindu has a relation ship with nature.

to prosper and peaceful in Bali are origin of Bali nature....

Why today is Silent Day? Why must not work, must not kill something ( example Animal, bug), must not use the fire,,,? Do you know this reasons?

Example about a fire,,,, There is a God of fire in Bali. We excuse this God to take a rest once of a year.

Another reason is because today is special "Meditation Day".

Today is we make a meditation and  a mental purification :) High caste people and priest of Bali Hindu fast all day. Of course low caste also may be done.

Of course there are meditation day of some ceremony in Bali Hindulism but it deosn't duty all Balinese.

But this meditation day isn't only all of Balinese but other religion Indonesian people and foreigner also :D

Sure, if they can't go outside from houses and hotels, it isn't necessary them to do maditate.

But they can take a rest with relax.  To take a rest also is light meditation :))

Today we must not pray too.

Maybe this is a reason because Balinese smiles are beautiful :))

This weekend is New Year of Bali Hindu.

So tomorrow we are so busy but still open our shop.

Because we musnot to go outside from house in New Year of Bali Hindu.

So we need to prepare something for New Year.

And we make the offering and bring to the village comunity and go to area temple too.

So tomorrow is very busy day... But New Year we must to be silent and must not to work and use the fire. Every new year we can get relax ＼(^o^)／

Well, we are introduced our healing goods in this time.....

Today is tha last day for Melasti in Bali. What's Melasti????

How are you? The day after tomorrow is new year in Bali.

Now is Melasti Day. And today is last day. Melasti days started from 2 day ago.

 

Melasti, Melasti, Melasti????? (´･_･`)  What's Melasti????

The Melasti is the Hindu ritual of Bali ⭐️

Village of people as well as dropping the defilement of the village of object of worship even pray together is the event to drop one year of defilement. Because it is done in the coast, people of the coast or near the region will go to the coast on foot. People of distant region, place the object of worship in the track, go by motorbike to the coast. It is traffic regulation for that. 

                           

This ritual is a long ritual that takes place from morning till evening. Changed to monk holy water seawater that people of Bali is called Mangku (Bali Hindu Prist), people of the village are multiplied by this seawater legs a little. 

This is done your child before New Year to say Nyepi the people of Bali call every year. Object of worship in ritual that marks the New Year from dropping the unclean also people of the village, it is a very beautiful ceremony. This ritual is only who wish, there is no obligation that all of Bali people.

After Melasti day finished, it comes " Hari Pangrupukan" before New Year of Bali Hindu religion.

Tomorrow we will be introduced about Hari Pangrupukan.... After Hari Pangrupukan is New Year ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

Hari Pangerupukan??? Ogoh Ogoh Day? What's Ogoh Ogoh????

Today is last working day in a week. This night start weekend (^_−)−☆

How plan do you have in this weekend?

We, which live in Bali, are very busy today.  Because today is the last day in this year (Saka 1936)

Saka is Balinese hindu year. We, Balinese alive with Bali calender.  Every celemony are made by this calender :D

Every before New Year we have Melasti ceremony. It already wrote yesterday. Now is Hari Pangerupukan ( Pangerupukan Day ). And we called New Year is "Nyepi Day"

Pengerupukan day means the last day in year and the day which we give the offering to Evil souls.

For the purpose that they don't disturbe the greeting New Year for us.

We bring the offering to village comunity and area temple too.

So befornew year Balinese women are very busy :(

The night people of villagf comunity around in the village while bearers Ogoh Ogoh with Gamelan Music Team of village.

It start from about 7:00 p.m.

Ogoh Ogoh is the figure of Evil Souls. Every village make this statue from paper, wood, etc,,,on every year.

In Denpasar city has Ogoh Ogoh competition :D After around their village, people bring Ogoh Ogoh to place of competition.

To watch many Ogoh Ogoh is feel spectacle and many people exciting.

To be careful is many road is traffic regulation since start about 2:00 p.m. So if we go to far for watching Ogoh Ogoh, it is diffcult to come back to home in the night.

After New year these Ogoh Ogoh are burned but sometime decolate in front of village comunity for a while because of remarkable piece of work.

Supermarket and company also sometimes make Ogoh Ogoh by themselves.

After finish Ogoh Ogoh ceremony, people of village make a party at village comunity place until early morning.

About 6:00 a.m start New Year of Balinese.

It's called "Nyepi".

About "Nyepi" we will explain next time.

Pedicure is wonderful...with Buttercup Shop

Pedicure is one of treatment at Spa...but with Buttercup Shop products, we can do our pedicure at our Home...

here is the process :

1. Soak your feet with Bath Salts or Bath Melts or you can make your own bath salt with Tejakula Sea Salt, Kusamba Sea Salt and Amed Sea Salts, then you add Peppermint Essential Oil or Rosemary Essential Oil.

2. Then use pumice stone to scrub your feet. or you can use Sea Salt Scrub, Jasmine Tea Scrub or Vanilla scrub

3. After that wash your feet with natural soap, Banana soap, Coffee soap

4. And put Foot heel lotion onto your feet.

It will be great after you get pedicure...and feel fresh in your feet...
