Rhassoul or Gassoul Clay comes from ancient deposits in the fertile Atlas mountains of Marocco. This clay is very mineral-rich such as Magnesium, Silicon, Iron, Potassium, Calcium.
It blends well with water. It is smooth and creamy and very easy to spread on the skin. Rhassoul clay is utilized in the highest class spas across the world.
Rhassoul is used as a facial mask and poultice to the body. It is similar to a western style mud wrap. It is intended to soften the skin, reduce sebum secretion, regenerate to the skin by removing dead cells and rebalance the skin by tightening the pores.
This clay is also used for hair washing, useful for dandruff prevention, and head skin nurturance. Rhassoul clay is great for reducing dryness in hair, improving elasticity, removing toxins and bearing hair and bounce. It also great for exfoliating and removing build up from the scalp, makes hair is more moisturized, softer, less brittle, smoother and stronger overall.
How to use Rhassoul clay:
1. Deep Hair Conditioner
Mix 3-4 tbsp of the Rhassoul Clay with 4-5 tbsp of Coconut Milk and 1-2 tbsp of honey. Spread this on your hair and massage down to the scalp. Cover with a shower cap and leave on for 30-60 minutes, then rinse out in the shower.
2. Face/ Body Mask
Mix some of this Rhassoul clay with water, spread on your face and/or your body and let it sit on your skin for 10 minutes or so, then you can wash it off in the shower.
If you want to take it a step further, you can replace the water with an Herbla Face Lotion.
3. Blemish treatment.
If you find yourself with the occasional break out, you can use the clay to help soothe the irritation and draw out toxins.
Mix small amount od clay with some witch hazel and use directly on the blemish. Let it sit on the blemish for about 10 minutes and then gently rinse out or wipe off.
4. As Shampoo
Mix up the Rhassoul Clay with water or apple vinegar. The consistency should rough resemble an egg yolk.
Wet hair thorough;y and then wring it out. Dip the ends pof your hair in the container with your mud mixture and then pour remaining wash over your head and work it through the tips. Let your hair sit for about 5 minutes, you can adjust this as you figure out what workjs best for your hair. Anda then rinse the water runs clear.

返信削除I wasn't aware of the countless benefits of rhassoul clay. Thanks for this information. It is really good for oily skin but difficult to find but thanks now we can easily find these clay masks.
